Scott Gemmell is currently a fully licensed Real Estate Consultant with LJ Hooker Brisbane City Residential. Scott entered real estate in 2004 after 11 years as a police officer with the Queensland Police Service.
Within 18 months he was the manager of a Toowong based Real Estate company that specialised in Project Marketing. In less than three years he purchased the business which had sold and managed some 750 plus projects worth over $1.5 billion. In October 2009, after an invitation from LJ Hooker Corporation, Scott opened an LJ Hooker Office and subsequently acquired the franchise of LJ Hooker Project Marketing (Qld).
Scott’s strengths include his ability to find effective property solutions for sellers, buyers and developers with the objective of achieving results above expectation. His experience with the Queensland Police Service has provided Scott with high level negotiation skills, an outstanding level of communication and a professional determination that drives him to overcome all levels of adversity. In recognition of his dedication to duty, he received various awards during his policing career, but a highlight was being awarded the highest Honour within the police service, being the Queensland Police Service Medal of Valour.
His passion for both Real Estate and people means he just can’t stop selling. Since joining the LJ Hooker network Scott’s strength in the sales & marketing arena has seen him become a member of the exclusive Captains Club ‘ Multi-Million Dollar Chapter which he achieved in just 9 months and less than 5% of the network Internationally can call themselves a member. In addition to this, the pinnacle was becoming a medalist within the network representing the top 2% Internationally and winning LJ Hookers International Auctioneer of the year for 3 out of the last 5 years.
